Chocolate Bliss Balls

Trail snack, work snack, anytime snack! If only you could bring ice cream on the trail!

2 cups Raw cashew or almonds: soaked 4 hours, then drain
12 Pitted dates, soak in hot water for 10 mins then drain
1/3 cup Coconut oil, melted
1/3 cup Cacao powder, raw or cocoa powder is fine too
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Maca Powder (optional, don't worry if you don't have this they are still awesome)
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
pinch Sea salt
- In a food processor, blend the soaked nuts and melted coconut oil to a smooth paste
- Add the soaked/drained dates and blend again
- Add everything else and blend again till very smooth
- Scoop 1 inch balls and roll with slightly wet hands
- Roll balls in extra cacao powder
- Freeze on a cookie sheet, then when they're frozen you can put them in another container or bag in the freezer for later!
- Or store them in the fridge for a week and they'll be gone!
Makes about 12
