Nutty Maple Granola Bars

Anything with maple is a hit in my books! So no doubt this one is a real favourite!

1/2 cup Almonds
1/4 cup Sunflower seeds - raw
1 cup Rolled Oats
1/3 cup Flour (brown rice, oat flour, anything really)
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 cup Raisins or Craisins
1/4 cup Carob or Choco chips
1/2 cup Maple syrup
1/4 cup Apple juice, or other juice
1/3 cup Almond butter, or peanut
1 tsp Vanilla
- Dry toast almonds and seeds in a pan until golden, cool, then chop roughly
- Stir together toasted nuts/seeds and all the other DRY ingredients
- Whisk together in a different bowl all the wet ingredients
- Pour wet mix over dry and stir to coat
- Press into a parchment lined pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes
- Remove and score into 12 bars, then bake another 10-12 minutes
- Cool completely, cut and store them before you eat them all!
