Can’t go wrong with adding a little crunch to your balls!
1 cup pitted dates
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon flax meal
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 pinch sea salt
1/2 cup crisp brown rice cereal
cocoa powder for dusting (optional)
Soak dates in hot water for about 10 minutes, then put them in the Cuisinart mixer with the melted coconut oil and mix until it’s all blended together. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the crispy rice. After it’s all mixed up, place it in a bowl and mix in the crispy rice with your hands. Form into little balls then dust a bit of cocoa powder. Freeze them on a tray, then they’re ready to go when you are!
