I always pack a lot of snacks since I never want to get hangry out on an adventure. This is one of my sweet, crunchy favourites!
1/2 cup Peanut Butter (organic, natural, smooth)
1/3 cup Honey
1 Tbsp Coconut oil
In a small pot heat up the peanut butter, honey and coconut oil just until you can mix it together.
1 cup Oats (Large flaked and gluten free if needed)
1/4 cup Ground flaxseeds
1/4 cup Ground Chia Seeds
1/4 cup Chocolate or Carob chips
1/2 cup Hemp hearts
1/2 cup Coconut Flakes
1/2 cup Rice Crispies
Mix all the dry stuff in a bowl then add the warm peanut butter mixture. Stir it up real good then use your hands to form balls about golf ball size. Lay them on a cookie tray and freeze them. When frozen put them in a ziplock or container for later. Don’t forget a hangry ball on your next adventure – you never know who’s gonna need one!
