1/2 cup Almonds
1/4 cup Sunflower seeds – raw
1 cup Rolled Oats
1/3 cup Flour (brown rice, oat flour, anything really)
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 cup Raisins or Craisins
1/4 cup Carob or Choco chips
1/2 cup Maple syrup
1/4 cup Apple juice, or other juice
1/3 cup Almond butter, or peanut
1 tsp Vanilla
– Dry toast almonds and seeds in a pan until golden, cool, then chop roughly
– Stir together toasted nuts/seeds and all the other DRY ingredients
– Whisk together in a different bowl all the wet ingredients
– Pour wet mix over dry and stir to coat
– Press into a parchment lined pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes
– Remove and score into 12 bars, then bake another 10-12 minutes
– Cool completely, cut and store them before you eat them all!
