Join our Whistler Bike Park / Sweet Skills Coaches for 2 days of action packed downhill adventure. Finesse your downhill riding skills, unlock your full potential and ignite your passion for downhill riding (if you’re not already hooked).

This supportive and encouraging environment will help you gain the confidence and skills to feel safe to push your limits and have fun!

Over the course of this two-day clinic, our expert coaches will cover in-depth instruction on downhill riding techniques, including jumps, berms, drops, and technical sections.

With 3 different options to choose from we have something for everyone. Are you brand new to the bike park and consider yourself a strong beginner rider and just want to see what it’s all about and keep your wheels on the ground? Or are you an intermediate rider wanting get your wheels in the air for the first time or with more confidence? Or are you a more experienced shredder-to-be wanting tips to get tips for being smoother and getting more air?

We’re so stoked to offer a weekend camp in the Whistler Bike Park and we can’t wait to show you our favourite trails!

  • More Details

    GEAR NEEDED:

Bike: Downhill or Enduro in good working order with minimum 150mm+ of travel.  Protective Gear/Attire: The following is mandatory for this clinic; Full face helmet, eye protection, knee pads, elbow pads and full finger gloves.  We highly recommend dressing in appropriate bike clothes for the weather that day, and packing/wearing extra layers just in case.  Participants must also also have a multi-tool to repair anything on their bike as well as tube, tire levers and pump.  *Please ride in shoes/compatible pedals that you normally ride in – this is not the time to be learning a new system. For example learning to ride clipped in or vice versa. Food/Water: Please pack a lunch, lots of snacks and enough water to sustain you through 5 hours on your bike. We will stop for a break.

    LIFT TICKETS:

Lift tickets to the bike park are not included in the camp price and need to be purchased separately.  Prices are not yet listed by Whistler Bike Park. Participants will be emailed this info once it’s available.

    LODGING:

Lodging is not provided but can be booked through the SilverStar Central Reservations.

    GROUPS:

Participants will be grouped together by their ability level.  The questionnaire that you fill out during registration will guide us on where to place you.  We do our best to match similar levels together, but given the nature of the sport there will always be some differences in ability and fitness levels within every group.  These differences can offer a great opportunity to peer learn – the most advanced rider can always benefit  from ‘slowing down and getting back to basics’ and a less experienced rider can progress from riding with more advanced riders in a supportive environment.

    WAIVERS:

Each guest will be required to sign a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement at time of registration, prior to start of trip. Click here to view and fill in the online waiver at time of booking.  Only one waiver per season needs to be filled out (if you’re doing more than 1 event with us). Participants are required to inform Sweet Skills of any allergies, medical conditions or injuries that might affect their riding or health and any medications taken.

    AGE:

Minimum required age is 18 for our camps and clinics. Requests can be made on a case-by-case basis. It’s recommended for youth between the ages of 14 and 18 to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
