We’re thrilled to introduce this exclusive, customized 2025 trip in partnership with Big Mountain Bike Adventures. This journey will showcase the best of Tuscany, combining the region’s best rides with rich artistic and cultural heritage, exceptional food, and world-class wines.
Our adventure kicks off in the world-famous Florence before venturing to spectacular Siena and hilltop Montalcino. We’ll then head over to Massa Marittima, one of Italy’s best-kept mountain bike secrets. During our journey, we’ll make sure we visit the Mediterranean to catch some rides with sea views along with beach time après. With its postcard landscapes, world class art, celebrated wines and authentic cucina contadina (farmer’s kitchen), this Tuscan experience is as much about the riding as it is about the culture.
This trip is a celebration of the finer things in life: fine wine, excellent cuisine, and the relaxed Tuscan lifestyle. We’ve blended into the tour 2 wine tastings at local vineyards, hand-picked restaurants offering the best of Tuscan cuisine, time to explore Siena’s historic sittes, and a wander through the charming medieval town of Massa Marittima. And, of course, we’ll always make sure we have time for the best gelato and espresso!
We’re convinced there’s no better way to experience Tuscany than by mountain bike. Experience great cross-country riding on fun hand-built singletrack and doubletrack trails featuring the perfect mix of flow and technical and rocky enduro-style trails. Sweet Skills will be coaching alongside with Big Mountain’s local guide Louise (originally from Sweden, lives in Italy, 2019 Enduro World Series World Master Champion, mother of two, and a fantastic host).
Our routes have been carefully selected to suit e-bikes, which will be included in your package – so no need to travel with your own bike. Our e-bikes will allow us to zip to the top of the trails, stay energized for the descents, and bigger mileage days with ease as we enjoy the breeze and the views spinning our way to the trailheads. This riding adventure is designed for intermediate (and above) level riders looking for an unforgettable adventure.
7 nights / 8 days
This trip offers a wonderful variety of trails from double track access to flowing downhills and technical enduro-style trails with steeper sections, loose terrain, and rocks. Some days will have technical climbs and others will be a combination road, double track, and singletrack climbs. There will be lots of opportunities to learns skills and get some tips so there may be short stops along the trail to look at features and dial in some skills. We’ll also gear the coaching tips specifically for eMTBs to maximize your fun on these bikes.
Skill Level: I-A Fitness Level 3-6 This camp is a great fit for intermediate to advanced riders who love riding technical trails. The riding will take us along some rocky trails by the sea, and a mix of flow and tech inland. We’ll be cruising along the uphills on ebikes which will be fantastic as this keeps the group together and we can cover a lot of ground and see more sights and trails. If you love a workout, no problem you keep it in Eco mode. If you don’t want to sweat then you can use more power assistance. No ebike experience required. Riders should be comfortable riding technical ‘dark’ blue trails (BC rated). If you are unsure if your fitness level and ability match this camp, please call Sylvie to discuss: 604-966-8330.
